Divine French Lavender Filled Eiffel Tower Toile Pillow (#1165)
This divine little pillow treasure will delight your senses with dried lavender. Hand stamped toile on one side with images of the Eiffel Tower, French script, and fleur de lis, it will make you smile and think of Paris each time you squeeze it to rejeuvenate the scent. Notice the morceau of scrunchy black rayon ribbon and the round antique black button that I found on a card of 19th century crocheted buttons at the Paris flea market. The last photo shows the antique button card. Isn't it simply lovely on its own? The ribbon and button are stitched through the pillow of lavender and polyfill stuffing, to create a puffy tuft. Oh, but the reverse side of this pillow is just as lovely. It has fabric with light green background the color of the famous Laduree tea shoppe in Paris, with paisleys in rose and cornflower blue, and a white flower button. Ooh la la !
